Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need climbing experience?
Not at all! We welcome climbers of all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned pros. Our staff is always happy to help you get started.
What should I bring?
Just wear comfortable clothes you can move in. We have rental shoes (R60) and chalk available if you need them.
Is there a day pass option?
Yes! Adult day passes are R160 and student day passes are R140 per session. You can reserve online or just walk in. Wednesdays are Humpday Student specials at R120 (shoes included).
Can I cancel my membership?
Month-to-month memberships can be cancelled anytime. Debit order memberships have a 6-month minimum contract. After 6 months, you can cancel with one month's notice. Early cancellation is possible but incurs a one-month fee. Full T&Cs here.
How does the debit order work?
Debit orders are processed through Paystack on the 1st of each month. You save R100/month compared to paying at the gym. Set it up during signup and it runs automatically. Debit orders include a 6-month minimum contract — see our Debit Order T&Cs for full details.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes — all members and day pass visitors need to sign a liability waiver. You can do it digitally during online signup, or at the front desk on your first visit.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! Your friend can purchase a day pass at the gym. Members sometimes get buddy pass specials too — follow us on Instagram for the latest.
What is the 10 Punch Pass?
The 10 Punch Pass gives you 10 sessions for R260 — valid for 3 months. It's a great option if you climb regularly but don't want a monthly membership. Limited to 1 per customer.
