Jordan Barry Hasleham, A South African raised citizen born in New Zealand with British bloodline. I am quite serious and intense when it comes to training, work or something I am passionate about, otherwise I am silly at times, always trying to be positive in any situation that comes my way, I love to bring joy to others and most importantly I love GOD.
My interests are god, music, running, fitness, football, anime, nature, and climbing of course.

How I got into climbing is probably quite boring. I’m sure It all started with a Magnus Midtbo video and then I went into a deep hole of climbing youtube and climbing documentaries. I spent hours watching climbing content and film. When I went to climb for the first time it felt like I had been doing it for months, I loved it, just as much as the history and the climbing comps.
I heard about FA through my good friend Google, upon looking for the nearest climbing gym, City Rock & FA were the only two climbing gyms nearby.

A week before the opening day of the new FA facility, I called in looking for a job position, I was told by Tim at the time that all jobs positions had just been filled up the previous week. Later in the week I called again, finding myself talking to Matt. I asked Matt if I could work there as an unpaid intern and learn about working in a climbing gym as well as shadowing on how to route set, he then advised that I come in on that Saturday for the opening day and speak to Wes. Upon arrival on Saturday I had a conversation with Wes and he was open to it and said I should call him next Tuesday. After I gave him a call the next Tuesday he said I should come in on the Thursday. From there on I interned just over a month and was then offered a job by Wes.

I hope to bring more joy and customer satisfaction to the gym, as much as I can add, as the gym is already so warm and welcoming. I would like to think I can bring new ideas and maybe a bit of a more organized space within and around the gym.
