Returns and Refunds

Simply bring the item you wish to return (with proof of purchase) back to our store.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as coffee cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate such as sports bra’s.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Health and personal care items like Boo Boo Butter
  • Climbing harnesses

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer unless the purchase was done on their site.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after purchase


Once your return is received and inspected at our shop, we will confirm approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and your account credited depending on the original method of payment. An EFT to your account can take a few days so please bear with us. We will communicate with you through the process.

Late or missing refunds

If your return is accepted and you haven’t received a notification of your refund yet, please check your bank account.

Can I get a refund on sale items?

Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded. Only regular priced items may be refunded.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, bring your item in to the store with your proof of purchase.

You are welcome to exchange for a different size item within 14 days of purchase on condition the item is not used and in its original packaging (it should be able to return to our shelves).

Shipping your return to us

If you cannot return your product in person to Friends and Allies’ gear shop, you can courier your item to us.

You will be responsible for the courier costs incurred in returning your item. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, so please consider using a trackable courier. Once it arrives in our hands we will confirm the reciept of the item with you.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. We aim for the shortest turn around time possible.
