The Bora HMS is a versatile locking carabiner that is designed to be your ‘go-to’ for climbing. It features a safety wire gate that keeps the carabiner in its proper orientation when belaying or rappelling. It has a wide pear shape with enough room for a Munter hitch.
The snag free gate is easy to unlock thanks to deep gorges in the locking sleeve. When the gate is open, it still boasts a strength of 8kN. Each carabiner is individually tested to a strength of 10kN. All the features add up, making this a favourite amongst sports climbers and even rope-access professionals.
