The Mad Rock Lifeguard belay device is reliable and offers assisted breaking in a compact design. Using a hot forged aircraft grade aluminium and stainless steel for increased durability. It is suitable for a single rope used in classic belay techniques for lead and top-rope climbing.
The hand position mimics the tube style/ ATC belay device while letting you feed out slack easily. If you know how to use an ATC, you know how to use the Mad Rock Lifeguard.
